30 Day Film Challenge, Day 29: Your Favourite Film As A Child
Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Michael Crichton’s novel was a huge influence on me a kid and remains to this day one of my favourite films. Every boy loved dinosaurs when they were little, but i was obsessed. I was so excited for this movie it’s unbelievable (comparable only to my excitement for The Dark Knight, sixteen years later).
To me the idea of going to the cinema and seeing Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor’s running around an island eating people on the big was incredible. It’s also the reason i decided i wanted to make films. Before this i wanted to be and archaeologist.
